CARSTAR announces Shine Month

CARSTAR has announced this year’s Shine Month, taking place in June.
The Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis, happening on 27 May 2018 across Canada will kick off the Shine Month fundraising.
This year, thousands of participants across Canada will unite at local community walk sites during cystic fibrosis awareness month. Over 10,000 supporters, including volunteers, donors, partners and participants help support Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s mission to end cystic fibrosis. The funds raised at the walk are used to target research and supporting and advocating for high-quality individualized care.
‘Since 1997, when our partnership first began, CARSTAR franchise partners from across Canada, and most recently the U.S., have strove to raise funds that will hopefully lead to a cure for cystic fibrosis,’ said Michael Macaluso, president, CARSTAR.
‘We have challenged our network to raise over $375,000 for the fight against cystic fibrosis, and the energy we are already seeing behind this year’s Shine Month has me confident our franchise partners will drive us to exceeding this goal.’
