IBIS 2017 heads to Madrid

The IBIS Global Summit 2017 will explore industry relationships when it visits a new venue and city.

The Meliá Castilla hotel in Madrid, Spain, will host more than 350 delegates representing every major territory around the world for the IBIS Global Summit on 12-14 June 2017. Madrid, the third largest city in the EU, is a new destination for returning IBIS delegates and promises to provide an elegant mix of culture and excitement.

It is also the home of the world’s richest football team, Real Madrid, whose stadium will host the 2017 International Dinner. Guests will travel through the players’ entrance into the changing rooms before making their way through the players’ tunnel onto the pitch. The International Dinner will be served on the pitch, in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that is sure to be a highlight of 2017’s event.

The 2017 conference will focus on the theme ‘The Currency of Trust’ in the collision repair industry both business to business and business to consumer.  In the digital connected age, open and honest collaborations are what future successes are built upon; IBIS will explore best practice from around the world looking both within the industry and externally.

Continuing the hugely successful content the IBIS Global Summit has presented in recent years, 2017’s event will explore disruptive technologies and viable business models to provide delegates with the strategic tools that allow them to take control of the future. Each session will also relate to the three pillars at the centre of the IBIS principles: Safety, Skills and Standards – worldwide issues that demand further attention.

The Global Summit is the largest event in the IBIS calendar, bringing together every side of the international collision repair market to build relationships, both old and new, and shape the future of the industry. Influencers know that by attending the IBIS Global Summit they are positioning themselves as leaders in their field, on an international scale, ahead of the competition.

Official IBIS partners supply and support the collision repair industry around the world. IBIS is delighted to announce continued partnership with 3M, AkzoNobel, Audatex and Fix Auto World who are all contributing to a brighter future for our industry.

Unrivalled in its networking opportunities, the IBIS Global Summit 2017 will provide opportunities for every delegate to explore collaborative avenues and develop new and existing relationships to drive their business, and by extension the industry, forward.

The early bird booking rate of £1,795 is available until 12 December and includes full access to the Welcome Reception on 12 June, for informal networking in a relaxed; access to the full day’s conference, including lunch and breaks, on 13 June; the International Dinner, on the pitch in Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on the evening of 13 June; as well as the final half day’s conference and delegates’ lunch on 14 June. The price also includes two nights’ accommodation (12 and 13 June) at the Meliá Castilla.
