Okan is a senior executive in insurance field with more than 30 years’ experience. He is a Board Director of two companies, VHV Reinsurance and VHV Allgemeine Sigorta. Recently, he was country head for Guy Carpenter for 8 years and prior to that, he was CEO of Eureko Sigorta. He also worked as a Board Member in Association of Turkish Insurance Companies and various other industry organizations.

Today, Okan is an insurtech enthusiast and his aspiration is to develop an insurtech ecosystem in Turkey. To support this vision he writes a column in a monthly insurance magazine about new generation insurance, disruptive technologies, digitalization and insurtech ecosystems.
